Collection: Gems

After 10 years working with copper, Claudine Moncion wishes with this new collection to highlight a material that has become so precious to her. The GEMS collection presents copper as a true gemstone: faceted, set, and elevated. Each copper gem is cut directly from solid metal, then hand-shaped by filing each facet one by one, before being carefully polished to reveal the full brilliance of its surfaces. The copper is then set on sterling silver, like a precious stone, using compositions inspired by traditional stone settings. GEMS is a celebration of copper, a tribute. A declaration of love for this precious material, and a demonstration of everything it allows to create.
